Board and Train

Do you want your puppy to learn manners, but your life and work schedules don’t make it easy for you to schedule an hour a week in a group class? My board-and-train program is just what you need! Not only will your puppy learn their basics, they’ll also receive:

crate/kennel training
socialization [e.g. learning to be polite around kids, other animals, etc.]
structured routine [bedtime, mealtime, etc.]
house-breaking/potty training [if needed]
and more…

Progress reports – which include photos and videos – are posted here every day so you can stay current with your puppy’s progress. Depending on the duration of the program you choose, you’ll also have opportunities to come and work with your puppy, and when he/she comes home, I’ll stay with you for a couple of hours so you can learn how to work with him/her on your own. And, you get two free follow-up visits [conditions apply]!

If this is what you need, click here to send in your application. Have a great day, and remember to stay calm and lead on. 🙂

Focus on Focus

Many people can relate to this: You get a new dog, you train it, and he/she does an awesome job of listening to you…. when you’re in the house. But outside, it’s a different story. Outside, walking the dog is more like trying to walk a freight train. He/She pulls on the leash, weaves back and forth to investigate everything, eats everything it finds…

This is exactly why I train outdoors. The outside world is loaded with all kinds of distractions, some of which can be really dangerous. It’s crucial to your dog’s safety and well-being that they see you as the most important thing in the world, that they always look to you for direction, and that they come to you when you call them, regardless of where they are or what they’re doing.

If you don’t have this bond with your dog and you want to change that, give me a call. I’ll come to you on a day and time that works with your schedule, and we’ll work together to become the change you want to see.

Have a great day, and remember: Stay calm, and lead on.
