Happy Halloween!

The website updates are completed now. The site is cleaner and easier to navigate, and everything seems to be working properly. Thanks so much to the people who took the time to test things during the reconstruction process. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

Tonight, ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and the like will be knocking at our doors.  This is a fun time for us humans, but it can be scary for our furry companions.  Just like fireworks, Halloween can be a big problem for our pets to cope with.

Help your animal companions get through this evening by keeping them indoors and making sure they have a safe place to go to if they start feeling nervous or afraid. Make sure they have something comforting to them – maybe a bone to chew on, or a bed they can curl into…  A place that makes them feel safe and secure will help them deal with all of the fuss and noise and even the costumes, some of which can be really frightening. Be aware of your pet’s body language and be ready to respond at the first signs of distress.

Have a safe and happy Halloween, everyone.  And remember: Stay calm and lead on.
